Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for innovative and compassionate Speech Language Pathologists ready to make an impact in the Portland area. This onsite position engages with children from ages 3 to 5 in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), as well as students across K-12, providing an environment for professional growth and meaningful connections. The role runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, with consistent hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Oregon SLP license required.
- Experience working in school settings.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for serving children in early childhood and school-aged settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to ECSE and K12 students.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document students developmental milestones and program goals.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions.
