Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as an SLP
- Prior experience in pediatric and/or school settings is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech and language abilities using standardized tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication challenges
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, documenting progress and adjusting approaches as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize support for each child
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert perspectives
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages each students confidence and growth
