Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering in-person opportunities to make a difference across elementary, middle, and high school environments. This contract placement welcomes both seasoned SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF) eager to impact learners at various stages of their academic journeys.

Desired Background and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Ohio SLP license (or eligibility for Ohio licensure)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or actively working toward it as a Clinical Fellow
  • Experience or practicum work in school settings with elementary, middle, or high school students preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organization abilities
  • Comfort with developing and implementing IEPs, as well as providing direct therapy both individually and in groups
  • Dedication to fostering student growth with a positive and flexible attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and direct therapy to caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and/or high school students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and special education teams on student progress and support strategies
  • Maintain clear, timely records and documentation as required by school and district protocols
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
  • Support students in achieving functional communication, language, and articulation skills for academic and social success
