Job Description

Youll work alongside educators and fellow specialists, helping students of varying needs achieve their academic and personal goals.

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Ohio SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Experience in a school setting is strongly valued
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Skilled in adapting therapy to students individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and re-assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update IEP goals
  • Support teachers and staff with strategies and resources to facilitate students communication and participation
  • Maintain comprehensive records and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development sessions
