Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of New Jersey
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates may also be considered
  • Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary and/or middle school students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with students needs
  • Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and support teams to communicate progress and adjust interventions
  • Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insight into students language and communication needs
