Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in North Carolina for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity supports childrens growth and development at K-12 campuses primarily in the East and Southern parts of the district. Youll collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and help students succeed across diverse caseloads.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Must hold or be eligible for NC SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) are welcomedistrict will provide supervision as needed
  • Comfortable working with caseloads up to 35 students; actual assignments and student profiles will be discussed during interviews
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities preferred
  • SLPA credentials are not being accepted for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop and update individualized plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff briefings, and continued professional development
  • Adapt service delivery based on student needs and caseload preferences

Position Details:

  • Full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Anticipated schedule: August 12, 2026 June 11, 2027
  • Work 3537.5 hours per week, with district flexibility on caseload assignment
