A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school setting in High Point, NC. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours and focuses on serving an elementary school caseload. This role requires an onsite presence to collaborate directly with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License is required
- Certification in speech-language pathology (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite during scheduled hours
