A full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in High Point, NC. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to elementary students throughout the school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students, focusing primarily on elementary caseloads.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess, diagnose, and document students speech and language abilities and progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with state regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required.
- Credentials such as SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) and/or SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) are preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting is highly valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
