Step into an impactful contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists in the vibrant region near Hesperia, CA. This school-based role covers PreK12th grade, focusing on students with mild to moderate disabilities. Multiple positions are available, and the setting is exclusively on-site to enhance service quality and student support. You'll foster communication growth in a collaborative educational environment, replacing current virtual SLP services for more hands-on engagement.
Highlights include a full-time schedule (32.537.5 hours weekly), working with diverse age groups and providing both direct and indirect therapy services. Key responsibilities encompass completing evaluations, developing and maintaining IEPs, and supporting students across various campuses. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License or CA CTC credential
- CCC-SLP certified, CFYs welcome to apply
- Experience with school-based caseloads, pediatric therapy, and creating effective IEPs
- Adaptability across PreK12 populations
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills within a school environment
- Healthcare or educational SLP background is highly valued
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Conduct and interpret evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver both direct and indirect student services
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and communicate effectively with staff and families
