Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a public school setting in Hephzibah, GA. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, running ASAP through May 29, 2026. The caseload includes elementary, middle, and high school students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech therapy services tailored to student needs
- Conducting speech and language evaluations
- Writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collecting and documenting data to track student progress
- Serving students across multiple school sites within the district
This role requires a valid Georgia license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist. While onsite work is preferred, a hybrid schedule with three days onsite and two days virtual is also considered. There are three openings available for qualified candidates.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working in school settings with a diverse student population
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and across multiple locations
- Strong documentation and communication skills
