Job Description

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hold a current license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Proven expertise working with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based settings
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with students, families, and faculty
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and flexibility to manage a varied caseload
  • Experience implementing evidence-based therapy strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions to school-aged children with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student growth and generalization of skills
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, provide consultation, and deliver in-service training as needed
  • Adapt and tailor materials and activities to meet diverse learning needs
