Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in speech communication or related field
• SLPA credential with eligibility to practice in Virginia
• Experience or strong interest in school-based settings preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Fingerprinting and background check clearance prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy sessions to K-5 students under SLP supervision
• Support assessment processes and assist with documentation for IEPs
• Collaborate with education professionals and families to create supportive learning environments
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain timely and accurate records in the districts IEP system (training provided)
• Utilize dedicated therapy space at Ettrick Elementary for optimal service delivery
• Receive paid compensation for all hours worked within the contractual schedule
