This contract position offers a full-time schedule37.5 hours per week over 5 daysallowing you to focus on helping children overcome communication challenges and reach their full academic potential.
Applicants should hold a valid Virginia SLP credential and are welcome from a range of experience levels, including those with SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY backgrounds. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing compassionate, student-centered care in a collaborative school setting.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active VA SLP license required
- SLP-CCC or strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-age populations is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student success
- Communicate progress and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and families
