Job Description

Put your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work, supporting students during critical leave coverage. Opportunities are available for multiple contract roles, allowing you to select a schedule that suits your interests: help out one day per week for four weeks over the summer, step into a full-time position from August through December, or contribute part-time two days per week from January through April. Each role is based within a single school, making it easy to develop meaningful relationships with students and staff alike.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC certification required
  • Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and deliver both individual and group therapy
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
  • Competence in assessing speech, language, and communication disorders and documenting progress
  • Organizational skills for managing caseload and maintaining compliance with documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school and state policies
  • Engage families in the therapy process and provide regular updates
  • Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs
