Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school near Hayward, CA. This contract role starts as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, offering stability and the chance to make meaningful impacts in a single, cohesive school community.

Youll work closely with a diverse group of approximately 55 elementary-aged students, delivering assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring. Your leadership will help shape growing communication skills and foster student confidence every school day.

Qualifications:

  • Hold current California SLP Certification and active PPS Credential
  • Open to candidates with CCC-SLP or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • School-based SLP experience is a plus, especially with elementary populations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, collaborative mindset dedicated to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with communication needs
  • Conduct individualized student assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP goals and student progress
  • Maintain clear documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt therapy approaches for diverse learners and evolving caseload needs
