Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Hayward, CA. This is a full-time position, with a standard schedule of 8:00am-4:00pm, for the 2026/2027 academic year. What Were Looking For:
- Active and current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting working with students aged preschool to middle school
- Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in culturally and linguistically diverse populations
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for facilitating student growth academically and socially
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students on campus
- Administer evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and track progress towards individual student goals
- Deliver interventions for receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate closely with teaching staff and families
- Support school initiatives for inclusive education and student success
