Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school location in Hayward, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP through 5/25/26 and requires onsite work. The role involves managing a caseload focused on middle school students, providing speech and language therapy services in a school setting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working within a middle school environment preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for school-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and education staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and communication development
