Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract role is based in Hayward, CA, serving an elementary caseload within a school setting. The position requires working three days per week, providing specialized speech and language services to support student development and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school-based or healthcare settings, including teletherapy or clinical fellow year (CFY) experience preferred
