A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Hayward, CA, supporting school-aged children in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position involves delivering comprehensive speech and language services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while collaborating closely with special education teams and families to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs.
- Conduct student assessments and evaluations; develop and update IEPs as required.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to facilitate effective communication and support.
- Provide bilingual services to accommodate diverse student populations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, track services, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in supervision provided by designated district personnel as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school and healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Bilingual skills are a plus to support diverse learners.
Location: This full-time contract role is based in Hayward, CA, with services delivered within local educational environments.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract term begins ASAP through June 11, 2026.
Additional Information:
- Interviews will be conducted remotely via Zoom.
- Fingerprinting and compliance with California education requirements are necessary prior to start.
- No training is provided; candidates should be prepared to start delivering services promptly.
