Job Description
Providing speech-language services in educational settings, this contract position supports two school sitesan elementary school and a middle schoolin the Hayward, CA area. The caseload includes up to 55 students, currently at 48, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on diverse learners' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across two school sites
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and school requirements
- Participate in professional development and mentoring opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Experience working in school settings with varied caseloads
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, onsite contract from ASAP through possibly the end of February
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
- Work serves two school sites within Hayward, CA
