This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in the Concord, CA area, serving a diverse caseload including grades 9-12 and a small adult population within a school setting. The role offers a contract opportunity to deliver comprehensive speech-language services, including case management, consultation, and direct therapeutic interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized assessment and treatment plans for students and adults with speech and language challenges
- Managing caseload effectively and independently to meet the needs of each client
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support communication goals
- Offering consultation services to support classroom strategies and inclusion efforts
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications and experience:
- Current California State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with case management and delivering direct services in educational or similar settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to consult effectively with staff and families
