Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Hayward, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP to possibly the end of February and requires onsite work at two school sitesan elementary school and a middle school. The caseload includes up to 55 students, currently serving 48. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services across elementary and middle school student populations.
- Manage a caseload of up to 55 students, delivering individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure in the State of California required.
- Certification such as SLP - Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and SLP - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings is highly desirable.
- Strong caseload management and communication skills.
