This contract opportunity is for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support at two school sitesone elementary and one middle schoolin Hayward, CA. Serving a caseload currently at 48 students with a possible maximum of 55, you will deliver speech and language therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. This onsite position requires dedication from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with an immediate start and engagement through possibly the end of February.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and individualized therapy sessions for students.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with state and school policies.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in California.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working with school-aged children across elementary and middle school levels.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a school team environment.
