Empower students to find their voices and foster lasting communication skills in a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support a diverse caseload of young learners near New Bern, NC. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 39 hours per week, providing the flexibility and immersion needed to make a meaningful difference throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active NC SLP or SLPA license required
• NC DPI Special Service Personnel credentialSchool SLP
• CCC-SLP or CFY considered, with mentoring available for newer clinicians
• Background in pediatric or school-based speech therapy, including assessment, intervention, and evaluations
• Strong communication skills for family, staff, and student collaboration
• Ability to adapt therapy to meet IEP goals and individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop detailed treatment plans
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions across diverse student populations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other special education professionals to promote student success
• Document progress clearly and maintain timely records in compliance with all local and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process
• Support other therapy professionals and foster a positive and collaborative learning environment
