Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- NC DPI Special Service Personnel School SLP Credential necessary
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or preparedness to serve school-based populations
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support students progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide training or support for school staff
