Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license required
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (K-12) is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet a wide range of needs and backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech-language strategies in classrooms
- Maintain documentation and progress reports per school and state requirements
- Offer guidance and education to family members and educators regarding communication challenges and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
