Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Active (or eligibility for) Louisiana SLP state license
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Ability to complete required credentialing: Drug screen and district fingerprints
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfort working with K-12 students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students (assignments and ages TBD)
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary education teams
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district/state practices
  • Work onsite, MondayFriday, following the school calendar (35 hours/week)
