This contract-based opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist eager to work with children and collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team close to Harvard, IL.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current SLP state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative therapy plans
- Collaborative, team-oriented work style
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and deliver individualized education plan (IEP) goals and therapy sessions
- Engage with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication development and academic achievement
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
