Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in pediatrics or school-based settings is highly valued
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to students unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote classroom success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Stay current with best practices and maintain accurate records in compliance with school guidelines
