Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut SLP License is required
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school-aged students
• Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are encouraged to apply
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior exposure to both educational and healthcare SLPA environments is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
• Develop individualized goals and therapeutic plans for high school-aged students
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services within school settings
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure continuity of care and maximize student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and school guidelines
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
