Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
  • Knowledge of IEPs, compliance standards, and best practices for student therapies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students based on IEP requirements
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with a range of communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success and generalization of skills
  • Maintain accurate records, document services, and provide progress reports as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer strategies and resources to staff and families to reinforce therapy goals within the classroom and at home
