Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or CFY applicants considered)
- Previous experience in pediatrics preferred, especially within school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
- Deliver direct therapy services and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
- Provide resources, support, and training for teachers and families
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that helps students thrive academically and socially
