Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including developing IEPs, a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and empathy in addressing diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions in group and individual settings within the school context
  • Work closely with educators and families to support students academic and social development
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations
  • Advocate for students needs with a focus on evidence-based interventions
