Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Demonstrated pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
- Proficiency in conducting speech and language evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering evidence-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Provide direct therapy to students using engaging activities and up-to-date intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation on assessments, progress, and sessions, adhering to district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and consultations to support student development and school initiatives
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and families to promote carryover and maximize student outcomes
