Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based setting, working in person with young children ages 3-5 to support their communication and language development. This contract role covers Perry, Dauphin, Cumberland Counties, and focuses especially on the Shippensburg, Carlisle, and Harrisburg areas. As a speech language pathologist, you'll have a meaningful impact on children in early intervention programs, contributing to their growth during crucial developmental years.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania SLP Certification required
  • Experience in school or early intervention settings preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with children aged 3-5
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to early intervention students (ages 3-5) within school and community-based settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans addressing a range of communication disorders
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with all state and district requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations regarding student needs
