Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Previous experience working in a school setting with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong understanding of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Committed to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and set measurable goals
- Deliver therapy sessions onsite, catering interventions to student needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
- Support and educate school staff regarding students speech and language needs
