Make a meaningful impact in the educational development of students across multiple districts by providing expert speech and language services. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite, collaborating with dedicated teams and helping K-12 students achieve their communication goals. The assignment spans the entire school year, offering a consistent weekly schedule and exposure to a diverse range of caseloads and age groups.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification required
- Active PA teaching certificate (must be submitted with your resume)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to support K-12 student needs across multiple sites
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools within the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students district-wide (onsite onlyno virtual work)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders for K-12 populations
- Develop individual treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs and educational best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student evaluations, goals, progress, and outcomes
- Plan and facilitate engaging therapeutic activities to enhance communication skills in the classroom setting
This opportunity runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.
