Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative educational environment. This position is based onsite, providing comprehensive speech and language services across an entire school building for the 2026-2027 academic year. Working 35 hours each week from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, you'll have the chance to positively impact students communication skills and overall academic success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Certification required
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certification also required and must be submitted with your resume
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to deliver therapy services onsite; no virtual services are available at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students within the school
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the school community
