Job Description

Deliver meaningful support to K-12 students as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist in a thriving school-based environment. This contract opportunity centers around promoting communication success for students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Working a consistent 35 hours per week, youll collaborate with educators and families, using your expertise to make a lasting difference.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist certification
  • Active PA Teaching Certification is required
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to seamlessly manage varied K-12 caseloads
  • Commitment to following ethical guidelines and documentation requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, assessments, and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist in establishing appropriate goals and services
  • Provide timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure students ongoing growth
  • Stay current with best practices and professional standards in the field of speech-language pathology
