Step into a rewarding educational environment supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This on-site opportunity, located near Hanover, PA, spans the full academic year from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a steady schedule of 35 hours per week. As the building-wide SLP, youll deliver impactful services throughout the campus, integrating your skills to help students achieve meaningful communication goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (required; must submit with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience providing SLP services in K-12 settings is highly valued
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the assignment (virtual services unavailable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students progress
- Document student performance and maintain thorough, timely records as required by district procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert guidance in speech and language development
- Create a supportive, inclusive therapy environment for diverse learners across the school
