Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a meaningful impact in the lives of preschool-aged students with special education needs. In this itinerant role, youll provide comprehensive speech and language services at locations in New Oxford and Gettysburg, supporting children ages 3 to 5 years in Adams County. Youll be working on-site, following the preschool stretch calendar with 188 scheduled days per year.
This position is ideal for SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence, and candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also encouraged to apply. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; CFY supervision available
- Eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood/preschool populations and special education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between sites within the New Oxford/Gettysburg area
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for speech and language disorders among preschool-aged students
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Complete required documentation and evaluation reports, with dedicated weekly paperwork time
- Maintain accurate records and data tracking for each student
- Participate in team meetings and IEP development
- Itinerant schedule across school sites within Adams County
