Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Virginia SLP or SLPA license, or eligible for licensure with status pending for August start
• Prior experience working with school-aged children in a speech-language pathology setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt and organize therapy sessions to meet diverse needs within a school caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students onsite
• Perform evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and school requirements
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to facilitate student progress and integrate therapy into educational plans
• Adjust therapy approaches and materials to accommodate each students unique learning profile
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates, supporting a multidisciplinary approach to student care
