Job Description

Utilize your expertise as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY to foster communication skills and support academic success. You will take the lead in assessments, conduct thorough evaluations, deliver direct therapy sessions, and actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure each students progress.

Qualifications:

  • Current Virginia SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to best practices and ethical standards in service delivery
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with educators and parents
  • Provide direct therapy to students based on individual needs and goals
  • Advocate for student success and participate in collaborative problem-solving
