Job Description
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in Hammond, Indiana. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language support services within elementary and middle school settings. The contract runs from August 2026 through May 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45-55 students.
- Serve students across one or two school buildings depending on assignment:
- One SLP will work with one elementary and one middle school building.
- Another SLP will cover two middle school buildings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary and middle school populations.
- Ability to manage a detailed caseload and maintain accurate student records.
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and related documentation.

- Hammond, Indiana.
