Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification required
  • Experience or familiarity with speech-language pathology in educational settings is a plus
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, learning accommodations, and differentiated instruction
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to adapt to individual student needs across a variety of grades
  • Comfortable utilizing technology for teletherapy and virtual services if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to K-12th grade students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Conduct and participate in assessments, team meetings, and progress evaluations
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, counselors, and educators to support student development
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to foster academic, behavioral, and social growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by school and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide ongoing communication with families, encouraging involvement and advocacy
