This contract position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting students communication and language development within a supportive school environment. Multiple part-time and full-time roles are available, offering flexible scheduling to fit your needs for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 3, 2026 to May 21, 2027), with potential for pre- and post-planning days.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Georgia SLP license as well as a GaPSC Educator certification
- SLP-CCC credential preferred, though SLP Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational or pediatric setting is valued
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to working onsite; remote/VOCO candidates are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as assigned
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff
- Educate and advocate for students needs within the school community
- Adapt to caseload assignments per your expertise and district priorities
