Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Connecticut
  • Comfortable working with a high school age group
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric, educational, and healthcare settings is a plus
  • Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs
  • Knowledge of contemporary therapy strategies tailored for adolescents
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions for high school students in an educational setting
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, or communication needs
  • Consult regularly with teachers and participate in team meetings to support students academic and social success
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
