Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Connecticut
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations (PreK-12th preferred)
  • Proficiency with various service delivery models, including teletherapy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and progress reporting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEPs
  • Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track progress in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input for student learning strategies
  • Offer consultative support and resources to staff as needed
