This full-time position runs from July 27, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week required. Working on-site near Halifax, NC, you'll collaborate with educators and families to foster student success and communication skills development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
- Current G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction required
- Eligible for or holding licensure from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
- School-based SLP experience is ideal
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning and management of speech-language services within the school environment
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses for students presenting speech or language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Provide expert consultation and collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and professional standards
- Serve as a resource for communication disorders, offering guidance and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
