Job Description

As a skilled speech-language pathologist, your expertise will be instrumental in fostering each students potential and collaborating closely with educators and families. You will serve as a vital advocate and resource, shaping positive educational outcomes across K-12 settings.

Ideal qualifications include:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
  • North Carolina Department of Public Instruction G License required
  • (Optional) License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  • Prior experience supporting school-aged students is desirable
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide screening, testing, diagnosing, and advisement related to student speech and language needs
  • Develop and lead individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal reporting requirements and documentation
  • Oversee planning and progress tracking for students receiving speech-language services
  • Serve as a collaborative consultant to teachers, school staff, and parents
  • Engage actively in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
