This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity allows you to work in an engaging, supportive school setting near Halifax, NC, where collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families drives student achievement.
Assignment Details:
- Contract position
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Term: July 27, 2026 June 4, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress.
- Advise teachers and families on intervention strategies and facilitate team meetings as needed.
- Provide oversight and planning for speech-language services aligned with educational goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association strongly preferred
- Valid G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction (required)
- Eligibility for licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be considered
- School-based SLP experience appreciated, with an understanding of IEP processes and collaborative care
