Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to support students with communication needs in a welcoming school environment. These contract roles offer flexible schedules to fit your expertise and preferences. Assignments are located at a single school site in the area, making this a great fit for SLPs who seek meaningful, focused impact rather than traveling between multiple locations.
Openings include:
- 1 day/week for 4 weeks this summer
- Full-time from August through December 2026
- 2 days/week from January to April 2027
Your background in working within school settings and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) will be essential in providing assessment, intervention, and collaborative services to students. Each assignment supports the continuity of care during staff leaves, making your contribution highly valued by both colleagues and families.
Desired qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach
- Ability to manage caseload documentation and meet deadlines
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individual and group sessions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings as required
- Support positive outcomes for students with diverse communication needs
