Key Skills and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience providing pediatric speech therapy, ideally in a school environment
• Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills for children with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation, including progress notes and reporting
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for students with communication concerns
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
• Maintain thorough documentation for IEP meetings and progress monitoring
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
• Provide direct and indirect therapy sessions (individual, small group, classroom push-in as appropriate)
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
• Support school initiatives for inclusion and accessibility in communication
