Discover an exciting part-time opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic middle school setting. This contract position involves working closely with students who receive services for speech/communication needs or autism, offering both case management and direct interventions in a supportive educational environment. With a focus on personalized care, youll provide essential services to a caseload of approximately 20 kids, with about 10 students under your case management.

Desired Qualifications

• Active Oregon SLP licensure required (CFY candidates are welcome).
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Pediatric experience, especially within school or teletherapy environments.
• Strong knowledge and comfort working with autism, intellectual disabilities, or specific learning disabilities.
• Experience in case management, IEP development, and collaborative practice.
• An adaptable, communicative, and student-centered approach.
• Fingerprinting and background check compliance per district policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech/language therapy and case management for a diverse middle school caseload.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Travel between assigned schools (itinerant role; travel time compensated).
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student communication goals.
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in line with district requirements.
• Support students with a variety of needs, primarily focused on speech/communication and autism.
