Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized services in elementary and high school settings within the Gresham/Portland, OR area. This full-time, contract position supports students with speech and language challenges, contributing to their academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary and high school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary approaches to student support.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary and high school environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized and effective treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with educational regulations and reporting requirements.
