Job Description

Ideal candidates will bring expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, with strengths in assessment, intervention, and individualized education plan (IEP) implementation. New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply and build foundational skills in a collaborative, school-centered atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid South Carolina SLP license
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
  • Proficient in administering speech and language assessments and developing effective intervention plans
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
  • Passion for supporting student engagement and advocating for diverse learners

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to K-12 students
  • Evaluate students, develop treatment goals, and document progress in alignment with state and district standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure compliance with IEP requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to curriculum adaptations when needed
  • Provide in-service training and resources for staff and family members
