Desired Experience & Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active CCC-SLP certification
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience supporting pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress tracking, and compliance
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input to multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy services to students across various age groups
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding speech and language concerns
- Stay current on best practices, research, and professional standards
